New Features

Command Palette

Navigate RootedField faster than ever with the new Command Palette. Press Ctrl/Cmd + K (or click the search icon in the navigation bar) to instantly search for pages, trees, and common actions from anywhere in the application.

Metric & Imperial Measurements

RootedField now supports both Imperial and Metric measurement systems. Simply choose your preferred unit system in Settings, and the application will automatically display measurements accordingly.

Orchard maps have been expanded to provide more working space, while updated tree icons make locating individual trees quicker and easier.

Enhanced Grid View

• More column options are now available in Grid View.

• Additional sorting options have been added to both Grid and Card views.

Clearer Date Tracking

Due Dates and Actual Completion Dates have been clarified throughout the application, making it easier to distinguish scheduled work from completed work.

Improved Import Tracking

Trees imported into RootedField now correctly attribute the importing user as the creator of those records.

Bug Fixes & Stability

• Improved the reliability of Calendar Subscription (ICS) links.

• Enhanced orchard location search accuracy.

• Fixed an issue that prevented some mobile users from accessing all profile options.

• Resolved an issue where calendar events could display incorrect dates despite the underlying activity record being correct.

• Orchard maps now automatically open centered on your orchard’s location.

• Archived trees are no longer included in dashboard statistics or displayed on orchard maps.

• Fixed an issue where unnamed trees displayed as “Tree Unknown” instead of their Tag ID on mobile devices.

• Organizational branding now displays consistently throughout the application.
